Terms of Service

Effective date: September 17, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Lazarus Labs, a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada (“we”, “us”, “our”), and cover your use of Golf Caddie+. By using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. The service

Golf Caddie+ is a golf GPS, scorecard and AI coaching app for iPhone, with a companion Apple Watch app (together, the “app” or the “service”). It is provided by Lazarus Labs.

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Golf Caddie+, or older if your country sets a higher minimum age.
• You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account.
• Each account is for one person. Don't share your account or use someone else's.

3. Subscriptions and free trials

Golf Caddie+ has a free plan and two paid plans, Premium and Pro.

• Auto-renewing subscriptions. Premium and Pro are auto-renewable subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple ID (or your Google Play account on Android).
• When you're charged. Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or Google Play) account when you confirm your purchase, or when your free trial ends.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
• Free trials. A 7-day free trial may be offered. If you subscribe during a free trial, any unused part of the trial is forfeited.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple (or Google) under their policies. We can't issue refunds for purchases made through their stores.
• Price changes. We may change our prices. Apple notifies subscribers of price changes as its rules require.
• Features and limits. The features included in each plan, and AI usage limits, may change. Fair-use limits apply to AI features.

4. AI-generated content

• Coaching, tips, practice plans, swing feedback and scorecard readings are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete.
• They are not professional golf instruction. Use your own judgement.
• Check scanned scorecards carefully before saving or relying on them.

5. Golf and safety

• Distances are estimates. GPS distances depend on your device, signal and course map data, and may be wrong.
• Stay aware. Pay attention to your surroundings on the course, and follow the course's rules and etiquette.
• Competitions. Check the local rules on distance-measuring devices before using the app in competition.
• Not medical advice. Heart rate and calorie readings are for general fitness information only, and are not medical advice.

6. Acceptable use

When using Golf Caddie+, you agree not to:

• misuse the AI features, including trying to use them for purposes unrelated to the app or to get around their safeguards
• copy, decompile, reverse engineer or otherwise try to extract the app's source code, except where the law allows it
• try to bypass subscriptions, paywalls or usage limits
• submit unlawful, harmful or infringing content in chat or uploads
• interfere with or disrupt the service or its security

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you submit, including your questions, photos and golf data. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process and transmit that content only as needed to operate the service for you, including sending it to our service providers as described in the Privacy Policy. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we're required by law to keep it.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its content, design and branding, including the Golf Caddie+ name, belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use, under these terms.

9. Third-party data

Course, map, weather and news data come from third parties. They are provided as-is, and we don't guarantee that they are accurate, complete or current.

10. Termination

• You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. Remember to cancel any subscription separately.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, or where we need to in order to protect the service, other users or comply with the law.
• Sections that by their nature should continue after termination (including 7 to 13) continue to apply.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, Golf Caddie+ is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that distances, statistics or AI content will be accurate.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Some places don't allow these exclusions or limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where you have the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

14. Apple terms

If you downloaded Golf Caddie+ from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top, and tell you in the app about material changes. If you keep using the app after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
